I get all happy when I see something that makes me thing of an ordinary object differently. This staircase / desk / storage combination has me looking around for spaces I have missed in my own life. Yes, I know it’s not practical if you have young children but it’s beautiful, original and is the kind of thing that makes you look at the world differently. Stop thinking about it as a staircase and think about it as an attitude.
