Researchers from the Zoological Institute at the University of Kiel in Germany have used their knowledge of insects and geckos to create a silicone tape that sticks and resticks (100’s of times). It can be stuck and unstuck without leaving residue and is incredibly strong. Velcro for the new generation! An 7.87 in square was enough to hold this team member to the ceiling. Imagine the possibilities. Maybe it’s time to take a walk outside and see what you can be inspired by?
