For those of you who are local (Lafayette, LA) here’s a chance to bring some clever into your business.

Myself and the Greater Lafayette Chamber of Commerce are starting a monthly Small Business (open to anyone involved in business at all) group called SPICE -it’s free, and you don’t need to be a chamber member to come. We want to find ways for people to work together, help solves problems and develop some creative ideas. Here’s the blurb…

“Are you ready to SPICE up your business? The Greater Lafayette Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with speaker, author and creative thinker, Aileen Bennett  are starting something you will want to be a part of.

“Small business innovative brainstorming sessions – work together with other individuals and small business owners to find solutions, share suggestions and learn from each other in a fun, open, creative environment.

As part of the Food For Thought series, this monthly casual meeting aims to deal with the real life issues that come with running a business today, including sales, marketing, customer service, staff, social media, etc…

Led by Aileen, the group will support and learn from each other – you are not in this alone. If we work together we can all be more successful – bring your ideas, questions and passion for what you do.

The meeting will be held at America’s Coffee House from 3:30-5:00 pm on February 6th, 2012. Parking will be in the Tsunami parking lot, catercorner to America’s Coffee House.”
