I found a wonderful blog post over at design.org about a designer who has re-imagined the identity for Bass Pro Shop, Fred Carriedo has taken a completely different approach that captures the timelessness and outdoorsy nature of the company. There will of course be people who say concept work is easy because there are no practical restraints, or that this may alienate the target market, but to me it’s a great example of how design can change the way we look at things. Take a look at the design around you, in your business, is it projecting the right image to the right people?
