It’s only little, and mine is only 10 days old but I wouldn’t want to be without it. Fitbit* is like an updated pedometer, one that tracks your steps, activity, sleep and merges that data with calories, and other stuff. It appeals to people like me who thrive on information and love to meet goals. I’ve been wearing mine for 10 days and have lost 9lbs – I know that kind of loss won’t last, but having the information at your fingertips all day makes a huge difference to me. I haven’t changed the settings yet so I’m aiming for 10,000 steps a day – until the fitbit I had definitely overrated my activity level, now I can see it in front of me. It syncs with a number of apps so I can use the LoseIt ap to track my calories, rather than the built in software – so far it has all worked beautifully. If you thrive on information grab one today from the Fitbit site

It’s not a shortcut to getting fit (you still have to do the work), but it is a great way to keep a record and set goals.
