Stories don’t have to start with “once upon a time”. They don’t have to have princesses and dragons and an evil man with a moustache.

Everything you do in your company is part of your story. It isn’t just what you tell people, it’s what you do – it’s what they believe you do. It’s how you answer the phone, the texture of your business card, the people you hire (and those you fire). It’s delivery times, and dealing with mistakes, it’s the words on your website, and the quality of your product.

You get to tell your story, but not control how we hear it. Your customers and non-customers will tell their own version of your story, we will listen to them.

What is your story?
