We’ve all fiddled with a paperclip, or two, at sometime – even if it’s just to flatten it to poke into a reset whole. Italian artist Pietro D’Angelo takes it to a whole new level and makes me feel slightly inadequate.

I have a feeling that, after they have seen this, there will be a whole lot of people that take playing with paperclips to a whole new level. Just get your work done first.

A selection of D’Angelo’s sculptures are currently on display at Ermanno Tedeschi Gallery in Rome through July 26, 2013.
