This is so true. If I join a membership site (think Netflix, Spotify etc) one of the first things I do is check how easy it is to leave. I really don’t like it if there is no easy opt out, or if they say it’s easy but only give you a phone number (code for we are going to try to talk you out of this). Make it easy for me to leave and I’ll trust you. I work this way in my business…. no long contracts that tie my clients in to working with me, that way I have to deliver my best all the time. I like it that way.
