How do you introduce the American Public to a cheese? A pop-up art exhibition in Grand Central Station of course. A clever way to get people to look at (and taste) cheese in a new way. Beautiful still life paintings were recreated, featuring real cheese.

Interesting concept. I wondered about the lack of target audience at first, but if quantity and public recognition was the aim then they did well – more than 500,000 visitors saw the exhibition with 40,000 people actually tasting the cheese. You can’t argue with that.

I managed this whole post without a single cheese pun. I did grate.
