Last night I attended an event so moving that I will never forget it – it was full of hope and love, and I pray that I never have to attend anything like that again. The community here in Lafayette, LA came together for a vigil of hope for Mickey.

Mickey Shunick has been missing since the early hours of Saturday morning, she was riding her bike home through the streets of Lafayette. She hasn’t been seen since, and her family and friends, and her community need her home. Please, if you read this post do something. Share it on social media, look at her face, print out a flyer (below) and put it up somewhere (wherever you live), join the facebook page tell someone else about it. You never know, your small action could make the difference. I know this isn’t the ‘clever’ you usually get from this site – but some things are more important than clever, and this is one of them. Thank you for your action, it matters.
