I can’t let today go by without mentioning the Google Doodle – with a very clever message to the Russians, they have made their logo rainbow colored and it links to search results for Olympic Charter.

Receiving bills and invoices is never the most fun thing we do in business. Unless you are Japanese Illustrator, Nishidashin’ya (Nishida)- he makes each envelope he sends into a work of art. His clients must love getting his bills. Now that’s great branding.

Finally for this week, FREE STUFF. I was over at Intelligent design Company lusting after their new Pour Mason (a coffee maker / mason jar combination) and came across a downloadable calendar sheet and a iphone lock screen – both in Helvetica. They were free to download. I bought soap. Think about that sentence again – They were free to download, I bought soap. – Now that’s branding.
