Sometimes clever is about location. Walking through the airport yesterday their were vending machines for electronics (headphones, chargers, cameras), personal care (for men and women) – what great positioning.

Where could you position your business that would matter? Where is it that people need it immediately?

In Japan (which now has one vending machine for every 23 people) you can buy virtually anything from a vending machine. Jeans, eggs, used panties (did I really write that), beer, flowers, hamburgers, neckties, books, umbrellas, dry ice, toilet paper, fishing line, hooks and bait, live lobsters, olive oil. I may need a trip.
