Recruitment company, Pasona, in the center of Tokyo’s financial district have changed their offices into an urban farm. Vegetation covers the exterior and occupies roughly 20% of the entire office space and support 200 species of fruits, vegetables and rice. Designed by architect Yoshimi Kono, office workers help maintain the farm and most of the food gets served in the office cafeteria. It’s quite beautiful, saves money, increases health and I’m guessing, lowers the stress levels of those who work there. Beautiful work. Clever thinking.
